My Favorite February Treat

Happy February.


When I think of February, I think of Valentine’s Day. To me, this holiday is about acknowledging your love and sharing it with others. This is a way to warm up from the inside out.


Yet, do you remember to give yourself some appreciation and gratitude? One of my goals this year is to be as loving to myself as I am to others. Until this goal is a new habit, I will be gentle with myself until it is anchored into my daily routines.


One of my favorite routines is coming up with new recipes and below are two pudding ideas. Yummy. Yes, food is one of my favorite ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day and being alive. I enjoy the celebration of food and savor every bite without judgement.

Pathway to Joy




Warm Chocolate Pudding

1/4 cup of almond meal

Pinch of sea salt

1 scoop of stevia (For suggested brand click here)

1 heaping teaspoon of raw cocoa

2 tablespoons of sunflower butter (For suggested brand click here) or other seed or nut butter

1 pureed apple

Optional – 1/8 – ¼ teaspoon of ginger, cinnamon or other spice


Blend all the ingredients together and placed in greased bowl. Cook in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Take out of oven and cool slightly before eating.


Raspberry and Walnut Pudding

1 cup of frozen raspberries thawed

Pinch of sea salt

2 heaping tablespoons of walnut butter (For suggested brand click here)


Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy.
