What Do Four-leaf Clovers Mean to You?

Happy March,

I have fond memories of celebrating St. Patricks’ Day. Music would fill the air at our home while we ate corned beef and cabbage. One of my favorite songs is a happy toe-tapping tune called I’m Looking Over a Four-leaf Clover. Hearing it transports be back in time to fun celebrations. Maybe you know it? Below is part of lyrics:

“I’m looking over a four-leaf clover
I overlooked before
One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain
Third is the roses that grow in the lane
No need explaining, the one remaining
Is somebody I adore…”

Now the lyrics remind me to practice self-love.

What do I overlook? Myself care. One type of self-care is playing in nature and appreciating the healing nutrients that I absorb from the sun. I connect rain to tears. It helps me remember to forgive myself and others, which washes my pains and hurts away and brings me back to love. Roses remind me to smell the sweet fragrance of self-love by loving myself as much as I do others. Want to know who I adore? God and his love team which are here to support me.

May you feel the love and support of God and his team.

Until next time, love, light and laughter,
