What Are You Digesting?

How you define digestion and nourishment will be important factors in what and how you digest. For me, digestion is how you assimilate or process your nourishment. Nourishment is providing energy and support to your mind, body and spirit. It is more than just the food and drinks you consume. Some examples of fuel are food, beverages, moving your body, prayer, gratitude, your hobbies, spending time with loved ones, and your intuition. I find the more I listen to my intuition, my stress reduces and the easier I assimilate life. Your mind, body and spirit are talking to you. The more you listen, trust and follow it, the more fulfilled your mind, body and spirit will be from digesting life. May you absorb all types of nourishment on your life feast.

RECIPE:

 

apples

Warmed Apple Chunks
Ingredients:
3 small apples=2cups peeled and cut
1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of vanilla
I teaspoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)
2 tablespoons of gluten free flour mix
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together and spread out single file on a cookie sheet lined with unbleached parchment paper. Place in of and cook for 45 minutes to an hour until lightly browned.
